Even though we have sinned and messed up the perfect plans God had for us, He still loves us and desires a close fellowship with us. The apostle Paul told us this in Romans 5:8, “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

God, thank You for loving us in spite of our sin and for providing the way to a close fellowship with You.  Amen.
