Eleven years ago today, America was jolted into an awareness of the things that really are important.  When tragedy strikes, we Americans stand up to show each other where our priorities are. People are important, not the things they have. Since then, many have taken up arms to protect our country. Jesus reminds us of the value of citizenry with these words in John 15:13, “No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends.”

God, thank You for the soldiers and their families who have given so much, even all for us. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus who gave His all for us.  Amen.
