We have a few major events that change our path, but for the most part our life is shaped by the small rubs, winds, and other day-to-day decisions and consequences.  Each trial, challenge, or opportunity bends us ever so gently to make (or break) us into who or what we become. That is why it is important to follow the advice of the writer of Hebrews 12:1 who says, “Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

God,  let our consistency point others to You.  Amen.
