Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

 “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” (Thomas Jefferson).

Today the trouble is too many good men and women do not want to go through the scrutiny the political processes bring. Nor do they want to  take their family through the pain and embarrassment rumors cause whether true or not. The writer of Proverbs 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

God, help inspire men and women to stand for righteousness. Protect our families from the wicked one who desires to rule and ruin our families.  Amen.
