We live in an age when many books have been written touting certain steps for wealth, success, happiness, or whatever the malady of the day is.  In reality, if you don’t follow the first step, the rest may not matter.  Jesus gives us this advice in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  Obviously, if we don’t seek God first, little else will matter.

God, thank You for providing the way for us to come to You.  Amen.
