Life flies when you are having fun. It seems many only slow down when things go wrong. Could those trials be the speed bumps God puts there to slow us down and teach us to depend on Him?  The apostle Paul gives us this advice to follow: “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

God, let us slow down to smell the roses, but keep our eyes on You for our future. Amen
