Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“God wants worshipers before workers; indeed the only acceptable workers are those who have learned the lost art of worship. . . . The very stones would praise him if the need arose and a thousand legions of angels would leap to do his will.” (A. W. Tozer)

With the finite mind, we want to do or help do everything. It is hard for us to comprehend that Jesus did all that was necessary for our salvation; therefore, we "get" to worship God freely. The apostle Paul reminds us with these words in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

God, let our worship bring the honor to You that you deserve. Amen
