demonstrating holiness

"The nations will know that I am Yahweh"-the declaration of the Lord God -"when I demonstrate My holiness through you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries, and will bring you into your own land."
Ezekiel 36:23-24 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Notice here how God reserves the right and power to relocate entire people groups. When He does, as in this case, it will always have a spiritual purpose, and that purpose is to convince all nations that Yahweh alone is The Living God. And He is good.

Ultimately in this we see the purpose of Yahweh for all of humanity, and that is to demonstrate His love, provision, protection, and compassion.
