Daily Nugget

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Let us keep our mouths shut and our pens dry until we know the facts.”
(Anton J. Carlson)
This is timely advice also for our computers. How many times have rumors burned across the Internet only to be retracted because not all the facts have been told. The apostle Paul gives this good and positive advice in Philippians 4:8,
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
When we follow either (or both) of these words of wisdom, we will find and keep peace.

"God, keep our hearts from secret sin.
Amen."

Bro. Bill

Give Him glory daily.
