God was there in the sunshine. God was there in the gentle breeze. God was there in the moon and stars. God was there in the song of the bird outside our window. God was even there in the rock we tripped over. How many times did He try to get our attention today?

The writer of John 1:1-5 said,

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

The light was on; was anybody home?

"God, thank You for seeking us daily. Let us be responsive to Your visits.
