It is interesting to see how hard we sometimes try to change others in an effort to make things better, but we neglect to see the things we could change in our own lives to make a difference. Remember the question Jesus asks in Matthew 7:3:

“Why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”
