Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
"Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you."Happiness, love, and peace are each and all fleeting emotions. The harder we press and seek, we find how fragile each is. After all, neither affluence nor influence can buy any of the three. Russell Conwell in his speech, "Acres of Diamonds," encouraged his listeners to find their "acres of diamonds" in their own backyard. The apostle Paul puts it this way in Philippians 4:11:
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am,therewith to be content.”"God, in Your presence, we find true happiness and peace.
God hears our prayers
