God is so awesome! He is loving, patient, and waiting to spend time with us. How special it is to know He cares that much for us. We can be the loving dad to our earthly children, and though we can never fully compare to our heavenly Father, it is our privilege and responsibility to point our children to Him. The writer of Malachi 4:6 says,

“He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

"God, let me learn Your lessons and teach them to my children and children’s children.
