Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Kentucky’s second governor, James Garrard, had several rivals when he ran for that office. Upon his election, he appointed all but one of them to high positions in his administration.

God did even better than that for His enemies. He loved even His enemies enough to send His son to pay the price for our sins. The apostle Paul in Romans 5:8 tells us,

“God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

"God, You alone are worthy of all honor.
