Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at bats a season. That means I played seven years without ever hitting the ball.”
(Mickey Mantle)

Mickey Mantle was a great ball player because he persevered even through the slumps he had. If he had given up, we may never have known who he was. The apostle Paul encouraged Timothy to
“... continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.” (II Timothy 3:14)

"God, let us remain faithful to You in all You put before us.
Amen."

Bro. Bill

Our God is an awesome God.
