Often we find someone who will tell us how to complete a task, or give us advice about the way they used to do it. However, too often too few are around to give an encouraging word or a helping hand while we are going through trials. The writer of Deuteronomy 3:28 gives these words to strengthen Joshua:

“But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.”

"God, Help me to be the beacon to encourage someone else.
Amen."
