Sir Isaac Newton states that he did not consider he had any advantage over other men, except whenever he thought of sufficient importance to begin, he had sufficient resolution to continue until he had accomplished his object.

To start is neither a problem nor is it an accomplishment. The true test is to finish as well or better than we begin. The apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7 tells us,

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Just as many teams find out the game is not over until the end of the fourth quarter, God still uses many of His servants well into their later years.
