Jimmy Carter Says US More Polarized Than During Civil War

“This country has become so polarized that its almost astonishing…. Not only with the red and blue states… President Obama suffers from the most polarized situation in Washington that we have ever seen – even maybe than the time of Abraham Lincoln and the initiation of the war between the states.”

Somebody needs to put Jimmy on some kind of medication.

More polarized than the polarization that led up to the Civil War in 1860... in America? This is profoundly ridiculous Mr. Carter. You must be reading from some survivalist manual.

The American voter is going to wage war come November... and already has in various state primaries... just in case you haven't been reading the news for the past 10 months... but it won't be a war waged with guns and bullets... but a war waged with ballots... and it won't be any weapon in the hand of a maniac name "Booth" shooting the president... but rather it will be citizens exercising their conscience in a voting booth that is going to bring down this political madness.
