The writer of Psalms 75:6-7 reminds us:

“Promotion comes neither from the east, nor the west, nor the south, but God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

Knowing God is in ultimate control, we must use wisdom in our reactions to the authorities under whom He places us. Not only do we have lessons to learn, but also the one in authority must learn lessons for the good of all.
