Saturday, February 6th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of man; and if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?"
(Benjamin Franklin)

The Apostle Paul, in Romans 1:21-25, writes these words:
“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
Do you think some of our country’s and the world’s problems could be related to this message?

"God, forgive us when we think we are the answer and look not to You.
Amen."

God, grant us wisdom.
