Those of us who grew up influenced by heroes, such as John Wayne and our dads, have often lamented the loss of true heroes. The truth is someone is following us. Each one of us is the role model for someone else; therefore, we must live worthy of the walk. The apostle Paul gives this advice to his friend Timothy:

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
(I Timothy 4:12)

"God, let us walk worthy of the calling You have given to each of us.
Amen."
