Thursday, December 17th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

A devout Frenchman was right when he said, “Beware of a religion which substitutes itself for everything—that makes monks. Seek a religion which penetrates everything—that makes Christians.”

With that realization of the power of penetration, think of the essentiality of Chlorophyll to green trees. As that pigment is acted upon by the sun, it purifies the dirty air, absorbing the carbon dioxide that poisons us. In the same manner, the action of the Holy Spirit is essential to the believer, to purify his spiritual life.

"God, let my walk with You be as essential as the air I breathe.
Amen."

Let Him be real to you.
