ABC news is in a state of near hysterics over today's report from Copenhagen!

As in Scripture... when the people of God faced insurmountable odds and foes... Yahweh would move in their defense... personally.

One of Yahweh's favorite methods of dealing with the enemies of righteousness and truth was to first of all confuse them... then set them to fighting against each other... this is what we see happening in Copenhagen this week.

It is a fun observation.

Oh... Yahweh just might have a little weather surprise for the summit attendees later this week as well.

Developing nations stage climate summit walkout

Intense negotiations: more than 110 heads of state are due to arrive on Wednesday

Developing nations have staged a walkout during the latest session of climate change talks in Copenhagen. The protest is being led by African nations, who have accused rich countries of trying to wreck the existing UN Kyoto Protocol.... At the moment Kyoto calls on rich nations to curb emissions, but does not apply to developing countries....

... After six days of little progress in Copenhagen, the US climate envoy earlier said the possibility of a deal on climate change hung in the balance.... The world's leaders will be arriving in the Danish capital over the next few days for the final round of negotiations....

... The European Union has now joined the United States in criticizing a draft agreement by the UN that says that developing nations will only reduce their emissions if they receive financial help.....

Separate agreements?

It is so tough that many are now suggesting that there should be two separate agreements reached in Copenhagen. The developed world wants a completely new treaty which would bring China and the US into the fold. Neither country is currently a member of the Kyoto Protocol....
