Saturday, December 19th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Have you ever seen a tailor place a piece of absorbent paper over a spot of grease and press down on it with a hot iron? Why does he do it? The heat melts the grease and the paper absorbs it.

Like that hot iron on grease, real love absorbs the spots in the lives of others, making them feel the warmth of our own hearts for them.

The writer of Proverbs in chapter 17 verse 17 tells us,
“A friend loveth at all times.”
We must not let the love of God warm just ourselves, but we must learn to share His love with our friends, also.

"God, thank You for loving me. Let me be a good steward of that love.
Amen."

Let Him be real in you.
