Navy Seals Accused of Assaulting Murderer of 4 Blackwater USA Security Guards
Lt. Col. Holly Silkman, spokeswoman for the special operations component of U.S. Central Command, confirmed Tuesday to FoxNews.com that three SEALs have been charged in connection with the capture of a detainee. She said their court martial is scheduled for January.
United States Central Command declined to discuss the detainee, but a legal source told FoxNews.com that the detainee was turned over to Iraqi authorities, to whom he made the abuse complaints. He was then returned to American custody. The SEAL leader reported the charge up the chain of command, and an investigation ensued.
The source said intelligence briefings provided to the SEALs stated that “Objective Amber” planned the 2004 Fallujah ambush, and “they had been tracking this guy for some time.”
The Fallujah atrocity came to symbolize the brutality of the enemy in Iraq and the degree to which a homegrown insurgency was extending its grip over Iraq.
Absolutely beyond the pale of incredulity! And you bet your backside, this is the result of a cowardly regime in both the white house and the Pentagon.
What a total load of politically correct BS insanity!
This guy is responsible for the death of four Americans and one of the most horrendous displays of behavior by an animal ever witnessed and he is afforded victim status after having supposedly being punched in the mouth by a Navy Seal during his capture?
This is what our society and our government has come to. Supposedly, as a result of the "Abu Graib" scandal, this is what our brave warriors are left to contend with and to expect at the hands of their own superiors as a result of political correctness gone mad....

Basically he should have been beaten to death, then the Seals could have said it was an attempted escape. Punched in the mouth, you're kidding, that happens in every schoolyard, every day. Seals are trained for many months to take care of bad guys, then some wus is going to send them to court over it. It makes me ashamed of this country.
The so-called Holy Koran teaches Muslims that it is acceptable to lie to infidels (that's us - US citizens and soldiers).
I'll bet that scumbag terrorist self-inflicted his so-called injuries and blamed it on the SEALS.
Write your Comgressman everyone - ASAP to exonerate these SEALS!

Let's drill down and find out the names of the gutless Navy commander who listened to the weasel Navy JAG who did this, and go after them in public for being pinkos, eunuchs and cowards.
They are traitors in uniform! They need to be purged from the corps.
Their names need to be blasted far and wide, and they need to receive the public ridicule and disrespect they deserve.
Such public ridicule just might impact their future promotions, and that is about all you can do to punish them for their cowardliness.

Gmurphy and I are both right. As a former military commander responsible for some courts martial actions, I know that the Navy commander is required to do a thorough investigation of the facts BEFORE filing the charges. Unless there is "secret" information that is absolutely damning against the Seals, the charges should not have been filed.
And, if there is compelling, secret rationale for the filing of such serious charges, the existence of such must be publicly stated--to be fair to the accused.
Otherwise, this fiasco appears to be a witch hunt by progressive liberals with an anti-military agenda while hiding in Navy uniforms and pretending to be "following the rules".
We need to look closely at the JAG involved. A gutless commander influenced by PC and pushed by a young, pinko JAG/attorney can be the source of such misconduct. While uncommon, this kind of thing has happened before.
