Saturday, November 21st. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
“Every misery I miss is a new blessing.”
Izaak Walton (1593–1683)
How often do we give thanks at the end of a safe journey? How often do we thank God for healthy, happy, well fed and well nourished children? While many gripe at their plight in life, let us give God glory for what did not go wrong today. Let us praise God with the Psalmist in Psalm 106:1,
“Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
"God, Thank You for the times you kept me and my ox out of the ditch this week.
Amen."
Give thanks early and often!
