Sunday, October 25th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
“If worship does not change us, it has not been worship. To stand before the Holy One of eternity is to change. Worship begins in holy expectancy; it ends in holy obedience.“
(Richard J. Foster, 1942–)
Where we worship is of less importance than how we worship.
If we leave our prayer closet or our cathedral and have not been affected by the presence of The Holy God, we have only shown up, not worshiped. The writer of 1 Chronicles 16:29 gives this advice:
“Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”
"God, thank You for your daily blessings not just from Your hand, but from Your heart to ours.
Amen."
Give God all glory and praise!
