"Wise men are not always silent, but they know when to be."

Many things have been said when silence would truly have been golden. We need to take Paul's advice:

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
(II Corinthians 10:5)

Wow, what would happen if we actually brought every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ before it escaped our lips?

"God, help me to choose silence when it is better than a word.
Amen."
