Sooo... here is the question one eventually must ask one's self...

..."Do I think that this administration is smart or stupid?

After asking myself this question I've come to a conclusion that has startled me a little. It has dawned on me that it is the conservatives that believe that the president is smart and the liberals that believe that he is stupid!

You see... the liberals are always having to say things like, "Well, that is not what he really means... those are really not his friends... this is really not the policy that we are after, this will all make sense in 25 years... etc" In other words liberals just don't believe that the president is the person that he is, because he is not the man they thought they elected. Therefore, they are forced into the position of thinking that he is stupid and inept... otherwise they are the ones who were stupid and duped, and heavens knows, the superior ones can't allow themselves to be considered stupid and duped.

Now... conservatives... they were hollering from the get-go that the then Senator/Presidential Candidate/Community Organizer was in fact who he had always been and who he had always been was reflected by the company he had kept and the things he had taught, lived, and embraced. We've always believed that he was smart as could be and he was exactly who he had always been up until the campaign.

So... you see... the liberals just think he is stupid, conservatives think he is smart.

Following is one example of the liberals having to "redefine" who our president is and "reinterpret" what our president really intended, with the effort and hope that conservatives will look like fools for believing that the president is exactly who he is.

The Obama administration is rethinking its course recommendations for students ahead of President Obama's address to the the nation's schoolchildren next week, rewriting its suggestions to teachers for student assignments on how to "help the president."

White House aides said the language was supposed to be a inspirational, pro-education message to America's youths, but its unintended consequences were evident.

Among the activities initially suggested for pre-K to 6th grade students was to "write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president."

Another assignment for students after hearing the speech was to discuss what "the president wants us to do."

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said the changes to the language are intended to make the lesson plans clearer. He added that the speech is not a policy speech, but is intended to encourage kids to work hard and commit to school.

The speech is "about the value of education and the importance of staying in school as part of his effort to dramatically cut the dropout rate," Vietor said.

The Washington Times was first to report. Thursday that the plan was being reconsidered. Presidential aides also acknowledged to the newspaper that they helped the U.S. Education Department write the suggested assignments, which stirred criticism by many who say Obama is trying to indoctrinate the education system.
