Every day each of us is confronted with choices. We may choose to make someone’s day, or we may chose to ruin someone’s day. That someone may be a friend, neighbor, relative or even ourselves. We should choose today to be the bright spot in someone’s day, even if that light is just for us. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus reminds us:

“Ye are the light of the world.”
(Matthew 5:14a)

Our goal should be to light up someone’s world, not just today but every day.

"God, may I be an encouragement to someone today.
Amen."

Remember to walk in the light as He is in the light.
