Our Nugget for today from Pastor Bill.

“What is Christian perfection? Loving God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength”
(John Wesley).

Jesus came to earth to demonstrate the concept of God’s love to us in a personal way. To love your God with all your heart mind, soul, and strength (Mark 12:30) is the first commandment. If we could capture that in our being, how wide an impact we would have on our world. As the old hymn says, “Let others see Jesus in you.”

Only one perfect man (Jesus) has ever lived. Let us strive to be more like Him.

As in Romans:

Rom 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers....

It was predetermined by God that we should become like YahShua... and as we notice... our becoming like YahShua is actually for His own benefit and joy...

We somehow have a way of twisting that don't we.
