Daily Nugget

 

Today's cherished nugget from guest blogger, Pastor Bill.

One warm day, a bird flew into a building and flew from wall to wall and window to window trying to find a way out. Finally exhausted, the bird lit on one of the window sills to rest. As the bird rested, it saw the sunlight coming in the same opening it had entered and flew off to freedom once again.

How many times in our struggles have we beat our heads against the wall only to find our way was not the right way. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.”

God, thank You for showing us the way to You and for granting us the freedom of eternal life. Amen.
