As ye sow, so shall ye reap, unless of course you are an amateur gardener” (Unknown).

The problem today is that many are proficient in sowing seeds of bitterness, contention, confusion, and strife. When the crop comes up and matures, however, they act surprised at the harvest.

The writer of Galatians gives this advice: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (6:7).

God, let the fruit of my words and actions come forth in kindness, patience, and obedience to You. Make me a channel of blessing. Amen.
