“If God had wanted me otherwise, he would have created me otherwise” (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 1749–1832).
Sometimes I wish I had this ability or that ability, and then I come to my senses when I remember these words of the writer of Psalms 139:14: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” To be different might mean missing the one purpose for which God created me.
In GOD we Trust!
God, You are my creator; let me be submissive to Your will. Amen.
