Daily Nugget

   Tuesday, February 19th, 2013. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“It’s a rare person who doesn’t get discouraged. Whether it happens to us or to an associate we’re trying to cheer up, the answer centers around one word: perseverance”  (unknown).

We must be the ones to bring a word of cheer and brotherly love to those who have circumstances causing them to feel they have no hope.  The apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:1,  said, “Finally then, brothers, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received from us how you must walk and please God—as you are doing—do so even more.”

God, help us to be the light and salt our friends need in trying situations.  Amen.
