Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

“The true worth of a man is to be measured by the objects he pursues.” (Marcus Aurelius Antoninus 121–180)

Some men raise cattle, some dogs, some chickens, some gerbils, some hogs, and hundreds of other things. Could those pursuits communicate our value? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” In other words, seek that which is the best.

God, thank You for seeking us when we were lost.  Amen.
