“Never think that Jesus commanded a trifle, nor dare to trifle with anything he has commanded.” (Dwight Lyman Moody 1837–1899)

The commands of Jesus are not grievous, but are for our profit.  Pity the one who rejects or neglects the commands of God.  The writer of 1John 2:3-4 says the following: “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

God, help us to love You enough to keep Your commandments.  Amen.
