What all do we miss because we seek something of lesser value? We miss a sunset in chasing after something else. We miss a soaring eagle in watching a slug. We miss a child’s laughter in entertaining ourselves with the latest technology (radio, tv, computer, cd’s tapes, etc.), and on and on....The apostle Paul tells us in Philippians 4:11:

“I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.”

May we learn to see and value what is around us.
