Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

A gardener took great pride in caring for his lawn; however, one year it grew full of dandelions. He tried every method and product to get rid of them, but nothing worked. Exasperated, he wrote the Department of Agriculture explaining all he had done. “What shall I try next?” he wrote.

“Try getting used to them,” came the reply.

As Christians we must be careful not to get used to sin. It is all around us, but we must not let it seep into who we are. The apostle Paul in Romans 12:2 gives us this challenge:

“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

"God, thank You for Your word to encourage, strengthen comfort us daily.
