Daily Nugget

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"In the absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it."
(Robert Heinlein 1907-1988)

Much of the crisis we are facing as a country is due to the fact we have trusted others to have goals that would bring us along albeit at a lesser level. Our complacency to let things just ride assigns us to a fate not necessarily of our choosing. The writer of Habakkuk gives us this advice:
“The LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

"God, help me to learn the vision You have for me.
Amen."
