Daily Nugget

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.”
(Anonymous)

The more mature we become as Christians, the more we find how much we don’t know with our finite minds about our infinite God. The apostle Paul in Philippians 3:12-14 wisely says,
“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Let us press on, confident not in our own strength or intellect, but in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

"God, thank You for the strength and confidence we find in You.
Amen."
