We know some people who will tell the truth at all costs; however, these individuals are few. There are others who will tell the truth in the long run, even if they have to change the story several times to get to the right version. And then some individuals might tell you the truth, but you are never really sure since they have told so many half-truths and un-truths that you never know for sure. Then there are those, who if they told you the truth, you would not believe it because they have lied so frequently about even things that don’t really matter.

Think about the words of Samuel as he encouraged God’s people in 1 Samuel 12:24-25:

“Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.”

"God, thank You for leading us in all truth.
Amen."
