Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“In order that people may be happy in their work, three things are needed: they must be fit for it; they must not do too much of it; and they must have a sense of success in it.”
(John Ruskin, 1819–1900)

Years ago, I heard the following quotation: "Find a job you love to do and you will never work again.” God created us to find fulfillment in our vocation so that in our labor we can achieve a sense of accomplishment. The writer of Ecclesiastes 9:10 remindes us,
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”

"God, thank You for letting us be fulfilled in what we do.
Amen."
