Sunday, December 19th, 2010. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Not without design does God write the music of our lives. Be it ours to learn the time, and not be discouraged at the rests. The making of music is often a slow and painful process in this life.”
(John Ruskin)

The song of our lives is not made better by the sustains, but by the crescendos, decrescendos, and pauses which serve to keep it interesting. The writer of Psalms 116:7 gives us this advice:
“Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.”
Enjoy the rests God gives you out of His abundant love for us.

"God, Thank You for Your orchestration in our life.
Amen."
