Wednesday, July 14th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

An easterner who walked into a western saloon was amazed to see a dog sitting at a table playing poker with three men. He asked, “Can that dog really play cards?” One of the men answered, “Yeah, but he ain’t much of a player. Whenever he gets a good hand he wags his tail.”
We need to ask ourselves the qestion: How about me? Am I able to to hide my excitement about the relationship I have with God? The world should see there is a difference because He is living in me. After answering that question, we need to think about the words of the Apostle Paul in 1Thessalonians 1:6-9:
“And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God.”

"God, let my excitement toward You show forth without a word.
Amen."

God loves you!
