"A Roman Emperor once gave a magnificent banquet, and at an agreed signal the roof opened and a shower of roses descended on the guests. It was regarded as a singularly beautiful and original proceeding, and has helped to immortalize the Emperor. But when God pours upon earth the refreshing rain, could our eyes but be opened, we should see that He pours down on field and garden, forest and plain, not only roses, but golden grain and fruit for the sustenance and delight of mankind. The King of kings is ever entertaining us at His providential banquet of blessing and beauty too."

Remember the words of the Apostle Paul as he wrote to the Ephesians in chapter 1 verses 3 and 4,

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.”
