The beginning of recovery is to admit we have failed (sinned) and come short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). The victory comes when we see that no matter what we did, God loves us and wants us to be a part of His family. We are so valuable that He let His Son go to the cross and pay the price we owed (John 3:16). He sees us as His Son and not as failures.
