I don't think that xtnyoda is ready for this.
If you go to the 2:50 mark in the opening segment at the following link to the ABC series, Brothers and Sisters, you will see what to xtnyoda was a rather shocking two and a half minutes of the show last night.
I had never seen any of this series and to be honest this was not a good place to begin. It shows two men living together. They talk about how good their "sex" was last night... call each other by terms of lover's endearments... try to get in a quick "daytime sex" encounter because it is "one of the benefits of being jobless"... they are rushed for time... then they end the scene with a mouth to mouth kiss.
And... this is on during the 9-10 Sunday evening hour... and rated PG14?
ABC... this is very grievous... heart breaking actually.
Brothers and Sisters episode
I am truly grieved.
Consider and ponder.
xtnyoda, grieved... very grieved.

I gave up on them years ago. There are no socially redeemable programs aired by the major networks and haven't been for at least the last twenty years IMO.
S.K. Karnick favorably reviews "Community" at BigHollywood.com:
NBC’s ‘Community’ an Exemplary Sitcom
I've only seen 3 or 4 episodes. It's not the funniest thing in the world, but it's worth a few chuckles. While each episode has a gently presented moral, I'm not sure it isn't done with light satire of after school specials. But, I'm still investigating.
We have lost the "Leave it To Beaver" genre haven't we.
Thanks for the link "On the Mark."
