Yahweh The Place of Freedom


Under the hand of Yahweh alone is... freedom. He has created us to be free beings... under His favor, care, and for His pleasure... mark that last statement... for His pleasure.

Deuteronomy 7:8-9
..."He brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from the place of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know that Yahweh your God is God..."
(Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Should we have a favorite object, thing, or possession... we would not enjoy it being under the control of another... especially if that other were to use and abuse our favored one. Not under the control of any person... government... substance... besetting sin... offense...

Yahweh... wants us free... that brings Him great pleasure.

This again is a part of Yahweh the Jealous One.
