Thursday, February 11th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"The ugliest of trades have their moments of pleasure. Now, if I were a grave-digger, or even a hangman, there are some people I could work for with a great deal of enjoyment."
(D. W. Jerrold)

Not only do our vocations all have moments of work, but also they do have times of satisfaction. Those "moments" boil down to this: each of us must find fulfillment in what we do or it just becomes a job.

The writer of Ecclesiastes 9:10 gives us these words by which to live:
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”
"God, let me love what You give me to do.
Amen."

Our God is an Awesome God!.
